TWO-HEADED VIRGO
Two-Headed Virgo is a multidisciplinary collaboration between Chelsea Rowe and Alessandro Maione at the intersection of sound, visuals and performance.
Thematically we work with the biological processes of cell division, the imagery and behavior of flora and fauna, metaphorically linking with the tropes and cliches of classical mythology. Through performance, we inhabit the space by creating objects that are designed to embody multiple purposes for our sonic and visual synthesized, meaning shared between the two of us.
